The Bay Area Sand Sharks are holding 2018 summer tryouts on April 8th at Northlakes Park (2650 N. Lakeview Dr, Tampa FL). The Sand Sharks will be fielding teams for 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and two HS Teams (combined 2019/2020 Elite & combined 2019/2020 Select).
The summer travel season will run from May 14th through June 25th and include Orlando’s Summer Faceoff on June 2nd and 3rd, Plant City’s Tampa Summer Jam on June 9th and 10th, Palm Coast’s Father’s Day Invitational June 16th and 17th, and Auberndale’s Summer Classic June 23rd and 24th. The cost is $950 (Includes 4 tournaments, 12 Practices, Full Uniform). The cost for goalies is $600. Parents registering multiple kids can deduct $100 for each sibling signing up. Travel team practices for 10U, 12U, and 14U will take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. 16U and high school teams will practice Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The Sand Sharks are also offering a Developmental Program for newer players not yet ready for travel lacrosse. This program is offered for players who want to stay local this summer, as well as new players that are still new to sport. They will offer local teams for ages 12U, 14U and HS select. The Developmental Sand Sharks will be doing 2 practices per week as well the Plant City Local tournament. The cost is $400 and includes the tournament, 12 practices, and full uniform.

Tryout times on April 8th for 16U, HS Teams: 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
