We’re going to keep beating this drum, but there is no girls POTW this week due to the sadly low number of stats sent to us to consider this week. Even on the boys side, we have only 5 teams listed. Where are the great performances from the other 20 teams? We feel there are players out there that maybe lose 3 games in a given week, but who are still putting up team-leading numbers. We’d love to hear about them and give them some attention.

Girls
There will not be a girls Player of the Week awarded for Week 5.
While Tampa Lax Report remains committed to promoting boys and girls lacrosse in the Tampa area, support from the girls coaches this week was so poor that we did not feel that choosing from the small number of entrants was fair to the numerous girls that play lacrosse here. Please girls, ask your coaches very politely to submit your team’s scores and stats to us so we can help give you the attention we feel you deserve.
