As of the COVID-19 break on March 13th, this is our mid-season report for where the girl’s teams are ranked in districts. There are only a few teams that have completed all their district games so we are only considering district games played for the rankings below. Maxpreps has some inaccuracies in its district standings so these results are from our research into each schedule.
1A District 5
- Cypress Creek
- Lake Wales
- All Saints Academy
- Land O’ Lakes
Cypress Creek (6-3 overall) are a perfect 4-0 in district play and have the #1 seed locked up. Lake Wales (6-3 overall) at 3-1 will hold the 2nd seed. All Saints (3-2 overall) at 2-1 hold the #3 seed. The #4 seed is still up for grabs because Wesley Chapel (1-5 overall) 0-1 , Land O’ Lakes (3-4 overall) 0-3, and Lake Gibson (0-8 overall) 0-3 have yet to record a district victory. Discovery is listed in Maxpreps as being part of 1A District 5 but FHSAA does not include them in assignment section for that district. FHSSA lists them as independent for 1A so they are not included in our reporting.

At #2 seed is Cardinal Mooney, having one of their best seasons with a 6-1 overall record and is the only team (1-1 in district) that has completed district play.
