After over five weeks of registration for our 5th Annual Tampa Lax Report Senior All-Star Game, we have both good news and unfortunate news.
The unfortunate news is that we fell far shy of the required numbers to hold a girls Senior All-Star Game this year. This is the first year we have been forced to eliminate the girls portion of this event and we are both saddened and disappointed.
The good news is that we can announce the boys rosters, comprised of (mostly) 1A vs 2A as intended!
In the next few days, we will be ordering jerseys, arranging coaches, and finalizing all the referees, facilities, and insurance.
Since there is no need for this to be a two-day event, we will be holding just the single Senior All-Star Game itself on Sunday, June 12th at 10:00 AM in the stadium at the Tournament Sportsplex alongside the Tampa Summer Jam. We look forward to seeing all of the players, coaches, fans, and parents as these seniors get one last day of high school lacrosse with their friends and teammates.
