After 2 tough losses to start the season vs 2 powerhouse teams (Newsome and Plant) …the Sickles Girls Lacrosse team bounced back and won their 1st game of the new year by a score of 15-6 over Cypress Creek on Wed night.

Leading the team offensively vs Cypress Creek were Elena Hangen with 5 goals and 1 assist and Reese Watkins with 4 goals and 1 assist and Alexa DeSart with 3 goals and 2 assists.

The defense was led by Ella Brunelle and Brooke Bucci and Anaya Mackle who shut down the Cypress Creek top scorers all night. Freshman Goalie Emma Zimmerman made 5 big saves and got the win.

Sickles looks to keep their winning ways going vs Alonso on Thursday and East Lake on Friday this week.
